The low birthrate problem in Korea is serious.

The last year, the birthrate was 1.24, the second lowest among OECD countries.

It is essential to have a dual income in Korea. 

People nowadays want self realization strongly. And it is difficult to cope with livelihood with a single-handed income.

It is not easy for a young mom to have a baby. She needs maternity leave, when she is pregnant or taking infant care.

However the company doesn't like.

Bring up a child costs too much. The parent should work so hard that their back is about to break.

I watched the documentary about population cliff. There were many apartment buildings in which only 20% units were occupied by tenants. I thought that the places were very difficult to live in.

Korea is able to become like Japan. I hope that Korea will be a good place where boys and girls grow up happily.

하고 싶은 말

한국이 저출산 문제가 심각하다.

작년에 출산률은 1.24로 OECD 국가 중에 두번째로 낮았다.

한국에서 맞벌이는 필수다.

요즘 사람들은 자아실현 욕구가 강하다. 혼자 벌어서는 생계를 감당하기가 힘들다.

젊은 엄마에겐 출산하기가 쉽지 않다. 임신이나 육아 초기에는 육아 휴직이 필요하다. 그러나 회사는 좋아하지 않는다.

아이를 기르는 데는 비용이 많이 든다. 부모는 허리가 휠 정도로 열심히 일해야 한다.

나는 인구 절벽에 대한 다큐멘터리를 봤다. 20%만 입주해 있는 아파트가 많았다. 매우 살기 힘든 곳이었다.

한국은 일본처럼 될 지도 모른다. 한국이 아이들이 행복하게 자라는 곳이 되었으면 좋겠다.
